Healthwise Launches its FHIR® App in Epic’s App Orchard, Improving Care Coordination with Evidence-Based Patient Education

BOISE, Idaho, Sept. 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Healthwise announced today the availability of its second patient education app in Epic’s App Orchard. The Healthwise for Care Coordination app makes it easier to integrate patient education into the Epic workflow and reach patients beyond the four walls of the hospital to help improve patient experiences and outcomes. Organizations can support both point of care and care coordination interactions with a single source of patient education using the point-of-care app (also listed in the App Orchard) and the new care coordination app.
