No one was injured Tuesday morning when a fire broke out in a temporary structure in Beacon Hill Park.

The Victoria Fire Department received several 911 calls, beginning about 9:30 a.m. The fire was near Douglas Street and Circle Drive, near the park’s giant watering can.

The structure was fully involved when fire crews arrived, said Deputy Fire Chief Dan Atkinson.

The blaze was close to a hedge, but crews managed to get water on the flames quickly, he said.

“Fortunately there were no occupants [inside] at the time.”

No cause has been determined.
